Hello, I’m Ebony.
I love literacy and I believe reading is a human right. Literacy knowledge is often limited to a select class of educated professionals and researchers, but literacy and all of its nuances is the passage to stability.
Therefore, we should have unrestricted access to the knowledge of language and reading to empower the next generation with strong comprehension skills and communication skills.
I aim to share this knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen, for the betterment of our children.
Join me as tell you about my work in Chesterfield County Public Schools over the past ten years as a special education teacher and a reading specialist. I completed Longwood University’s Reading, Literacy, and Learning program in the summer of 2025, and I am eager to receive my Reading Specialist endorsement.
